About me
Taking a person-centered approach, I study how technology can be used to support the needs of people as they age. This involves questioning the design of technology without buy-in from the intended demographic as well as the collection of data from and about older people without their informed consent. I have worked on three continents (Asia, America, Europe) and in three disciplines (Computer Science, Information Science, Digital Humanities). I look forward to discussing methods for assessing the effectiveness of the digital solutions and to find problems that we don't even know exist yet.
