Mirko Sporket's schedule for 2025 (eng)aging! Conference

We present to you the 2025 (eng)aging! – 8th International Conference on Aging & Technology Fair held on June 5 – 6, 2025, in Prague. The event took place as an in-person meeting in Česká spořitelna Palace in Prague (Rytířská 29, Praha 1) and also was streamed online for those who could not physically attend.

This year’s edition will focus on Intergenerational Cohesion. Additionally, it will showcase technologies and solutions that enhance the quality of life for older adults at the technology fair.

The event was co-financed by International Visegrad Fund, Czech-German Future Fund, Centre of Expertise in Longevity and Long-term Care, Contact office of the Free State of Saxony in Prague, and Česká spořitelna.

(eng)aging! project is run by Active Aging Center (AAC), a non-governmental organization, which develops
projects focused on improving life of older people - “Happy Senior” and “Good Investment”, in cooperation with KEYNOTE, a well- established consultancy.

About me

After positions at the Institute of Gerontology at the Technical University of Dortmund and the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research, Sporket has been a Professor of Sociology with a focus on aging and demography at Münster University of Applied Sciences since 2013. His teaching and research center on social inequality in old age, social work with the elderly, and municipal issues. His most recent research interest concerns long-term unemployment among older adults.
