About me
Elena Șoldan is a scientific researcher at the National Institute for Economic Research, Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova. She is also a PhD candidate in Demography at Charles University in Prague and obtained her Master’s degree in Economy of Population from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova in Chisinau. Her research focuses on the socioeconomic implications of age-specific population trends, with a particular interest in the demographic dividend. She also investigates fertility dynamics, human capital formation, and the generational economy, applying the National Transfer Accounts approach.
