Mariana has extensive research experience in social and demographic issues, such as social services for vulnerable groups (children, the elderly), the reconciliation of professional and parental roles, active aging, and youth policies. Since 2008, she has been working as a Research Associate Professor with the team at the Centre for Demographic Research of the National Institute for Economic Research (Moldova). As a national expert involved in both national and international scientific projects, Mariana provides analytical and informational support to state institutions for the development of strategies and programs in the social field.
